How to add additional drive in running Oracle Virtual Box

                                       
Power off VM in which drive need to be added.

Go to settings -->Storage

Click on Add disk icon

Click Next

Additional Hard drive is added

Open the disk management in VM machine in which the hard drive is added 

Click Ok 

Unallocated space will be available .Format and create simple volume and make use of the added hard drive
